The corned beef and hash was delicious, the latkes were so yummy. We had a table of 9 and everyone was happy, the food came out quickly. Super cute atmosphere of an old fashioned diner with very friendly staff!

Love this place for a weekend breakfast. The servers are always personable no matter how busy they are. The food is consistently good. We love the veggie hash and berry blintz.

Best food period. Just can't say enough great things about this diner. Solid all the way around. Nice people. Quick and to the point ordering. Family friendly. They know their craft. Perfection!

They were very accommodating to make my meal vegan. I got the burger and it was really good. Will definitely come back, when I'm in the area.

This is one of my go to brunch places. Their food is decent, and their staff is good. They have good coffee and prices that fit the area (saw another review that was totally off in that regard). They're part of a chain, and each location is different, trying to emphasize a theme in the local neighborhood, which is cool. They also have a bar that's first come, first serve -- a godsend if you want breakfast by yourself: just grab a stool. There's a bit of an old mom and pops diner vibe. Finally, they have great pie and a full menu of good, non-breakfast items. All of that said, I'm giving them a 4 because their food is good but not stellar, and at this location, after years of semi-regular attendance, only a couple waitresses know my name. This is one of the best brunch places on the Seattle Eastside, but Seattle proper has more amazing options (although much more expensive, crowded, and less chill).

It was fairly busy when we showed up so it seems like a popular spot. The food was ok. The eggs Benedict were dry and the hash browns were under seasoned. The m&m pancakes were a hit with one kid, but the regular pancakes were described as "not very good" by the other kid. Our server was good, and the wait wasn't long to get our food. I might try it again.

A very friendly, small town diner atmosphere. I go there once or twice a week for breakfast and have never had a bad experience. I recommend the almond crusted French toast. Absolutely incredible.

I frequent the Village Square Cafe. in Redmond, WA, for breakfast. I is continuously popular throughout the day, but I manage to find a spot at the counter when just stopping by. I typically have Eggs Benedict or Homemade Hash and Eggs.

really great cafe, such a huge menu and everything always sounds good. super friendly staff and even if they're busy with a line out the door they usually get you seated relatively quickly and i always find a spot at the counter almost immediately. terrific onion rings!

The wait to be seated was an hour (58 minutes to be exact). Once seated it took about 20min to even get some coffee. I had the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was... watery. Overall the food was average. Doubt I'll be returning. Would not recommend.

Had the Reuben and fries and a coffee shake for lunch. I've had the Reuben before and both times they have been excellent! The sandwich was hot, the fries were hot, nothing to complain about here.

Very standard diner breakfast. They serve lunch and breakfast all day, which is nice. There really isn't much on the menu that is innovative or truly vegetarian friendly (except breakfast because of all the egg, pancake, waffle etc options). The prices are really good for the portion size. Half portions were more than enough although I suspect they added more hash browns to fill up the plate. Veggie omelette without cheese was fine. Hash browns weren't great. These weren't quite cooked enough. I'm usually not a big fan anyway. Lots of coffee fill-ups and great service in general. Popular and gets crowded quickly in the morning.

I come for breakfast and the staff is always amazing, plus the food is wonderful. My order is always the same... veggie omelette, no mushrooms, extra spinach, add blue cheese, red skin potatoes, and rye toast. I usually get so full eating just half of it and save the rest. Portions are generous. Thank you to the chef and crew!

An amazing place. I loved the food here. The employees were really good and their service was amazing. The banana milk shake is really good. The quantity of the food is good. It seems like they have only limited number of tables, so I suggested you to reserve a table for yourself when you come here.i recommend it.

Village Square is my favorite restaurant. When I worked down the street, I went here for lunch far too often. The food is always fantastic and the staff is friendly and attentive. Feels like home!

Unfortunately we can no longer get food that we enjoy from this place due to changes made by the owner. We used to always get to-go Swedish Crepes and Eggs Benedict (and Waffles). We were just told that those items are no longer available for to-go orders because they "don't travel well".We've been long time customers for over 4 years and have never had issues with the crepes or the eggs benedict not traveling well on our to-go orders. It's very disheartening that this decision was made. Unfortunately, this means that we can no longer order from here. We hope the owner will change their minds on this decision as is it keeping us from being customers.

Delicious! Prices are good for what you get. They told us our table was ready although it wasn’t and we had to wait another 15 minutes in the hallway. All in all we waited for more than one hour so make sure to do a reservation!

Always delicious! I come to Redmond a couple times a year to visit family and always make a point of coming here for breakfast. The service is always polite. Their potato pancakes are absolutely fantastic. The portions are generous so order the half order unless you are really hungry.

Good food, but be sure to have a snack before heading here. The wait time on a Sunday at 11:30 am was 45 minutes even so the staff was quick and friendly. Based on all the reviews I was really looking forward to the food experience. Nothing spectacular or special. I had the huevos rancheros and the sauce was thick with chunky tomatoes that tasted canned. The refried beans were definitely canned and thickly laid on the bottom layer. Beans should be supporting actors in this dish not the foundation. The pumpkin pancakes were a hit. Overall not worth the wait or the price.

Excellent. Absolutely excellent. The food was amazing, service was exceptional and the atmosphere was home-town. I personally judge a brunch restaurant on its ability to do pancakes and Eggs Benedict. I was not disappointed! The sauce was rich and creamy, the ham soft and the English muffin crunchy. The pancakes were fluffy without being dense and were flavorful enough on their own with only a little butter.

A fairly large and busy cafe. Although there's plentiful seating, there was a fairly sizable crowd waiting to be seated, and I can see why. The food was good to high quality, and the portions were generous, and then some.

The wait was long, but worth it. The people are very nice, and the food is amazing. I got a breakfast sandwich, which had eggs, bacon, and hash browns on sourdough toast. Best breakfast sandwich I have had, highly recommended.

It felt very authentically American. Great value for money. I ordered a special called Joe's. I was so full I barely finished my food and that's not something you hear often from me! Definitely recommended and the earlier you go the better. There will probably be a wait if you're not there early, the place seemed super popular with the locals.

My kind of place. The food was good home cooking with a modern twist. Loved their love of the avocado. Next time I'm going to try the vegan dishes. Try it; you'll like it.

First time here on Christmas Eve. Seating was quick and easy. Large menu with a variety of choices. Ordered the avocado toast with hash browns and the huevos rancheros with pancakes. Both were tasty and filling, the perfect amount of quality and comfort food. Our server Sassy was attentive and a sweetheart too. Definitely will return!

Popular spot for breakfast/brunch. The cafe is clean, while the employees are friendly and quick about the service. There is usually a wait but even at 11am on a Saturday the wait for a couple was 15 minutes. Family friendly atmosphere with excellent breakfast. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the hash browns were in need of seasoning, everything else was super tasty.

I've been going to Village Square Cafe since I was a small child. I have never had a dish that I didn't love; though I do tend to stick to my favorites.I absolutely love their Monte Cristo Sandwich, if you like Savory+Sweet food combinations it's a good sandwich for that. I love their potato pancakes, more like stuffed hash browns than a pancake but so delicious and crunchy to boot; take their suggestion and get it with the sour cream and applesauce. Again it sounds crazy, but it honestly works! I love getting the bacon waffle with an egg on the side, and the waffles are thin and crispy on the edges with a softer center; essentially their waffles no matter what type you get are perfect. If you love milkshakes theirs comes with a refill.I love taking people here, for breakfast or lunch!

The almond French toast is really bad. There's not even any almonds on it! Just tastes like the cereal that they add to it, which is bland and flavorless, and the toast itself is quite dry, and there's no "crunch" like they say on the menu either. I don't know how they mess up French toast that badly!

This place has a wonderfully Redmond atmosphere. The people are friendly, the decor is nice, and the smells are wonderful. I was delightfully surprised when I sat down and saw four different flavors of coffee creamer when at most there are 2. The wait staff were very attentive and refilled my coffee as soon as it was empty. The food came out in a timely manner and the avocado toast with pancakes was delicious. If you want a nice morning taste of Redmond, this is the place.

Enjoyed it all. Good food, presentation and service. Greeted when we arrived around 1:15 on Superbowl Sunday. A 10 minute wait on a very busy day speaks well for their reasonable time from order to delivery to table. We did scrambles, omelets, pancakes and crepes. All were excellent diner quality. We ate more than intended, but still brought home leftovers. Our waitress was very attentive checking on us just at the right times. We will definitely be coming back again.

We used to love this place, but Almost everything we would order is no longer being served. It’s common sense that some food does not travel well, people can’t expect the food to be the same as eating in when getting a Togo order.
